I can't believe we have already made it through the month of September.
I can now update pictures to my blogs (FOIP forms have been processed) so I hope you enjoy the blog with a little less words ;)
Here is a quick snap shot of what we have been learning throughout September
Thank you to everyone that has brought in stuff for our alphabet hunt. (I know sometimes it is harder for parents to find things) We are now on letter K and our coconut tree is getting pretty crowded. If the children haven't told you yet - we have been focusing on the book "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom".

We have also been learning about the calender and practicing our month, days of the week and counting up to 30. The children love to be on "weather" duty for the day. :)
During September, our season changed from Summer to Fall, on our first day of Fall we painted with leaves. Messy is always more fun!
We had "safely on board" come to visit! Timmy (the bus safety puppet) and the children had such a fun time together.
The children have been practicing patterning with our pattern mats
Moon Sand was one of the biggest hits with the children! We searched through the sand to find all the letters in the alphabet!
And finally, one of the most important parts of September - we explored the classroom and made new friends!
